SBGames 2024 will be held in the beautiful city of Manaus, AM, Brazil, at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Universidade Estadual do Amazonas (EST/UEA).

Known as the “Gateway to the Amazon,” Manaus has a rich history dating back to the 17th century, when it was a prosperous outpost during the rubber boom.
The city’s architecture reflects this golden age with the iconic Teatro Amazonas, an opulent opera house that showcases the richness and cultural sophistication of the time. Built during the height of the rubber trade, this architectural gem is a symbol of Manaus’ historical significance.
Modern Manaus is a melting pot of cultures, influenced by indigenous communities, Portuguese colonizers and waves of immigrants. The diverse population is reflected in the city’s lively atmosphere, colorful markets and delicious cuisine. Mercado Adolpho Lisboa, a bustling market near the Rio Negro, offers a sensory feast with exotic fruits, fresh fish and artisanal crafts.

Ponta Negra Beach
Ponta Negra Beach is the most famous in the city. The resort is located on the banks of the Rio Negro and has an extensive stretch of sand, as well as fresh water. A good place to run on the hottest days in Manaus. The structure of Ponta Negra meant that the complex became one of the main tourist attractions in Manaus. There is a wide promenade, sports courts, viewpoints, a fountain, space for shows and other presentations, as well as kiosks with regional foods and snacks.
