The Workshop of Theses and Dissertations (WTD)<\/strong> aims to motivate discussions about graduate-level research on topics covered by SIBGRAPI among graduate students, recently graduated students, and senior researchers. Researchers who have recently concluded their graduate studies are cordially invited to submit a paper to the SIBGRAPI WTD.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Awards for the best Ph.D. and M.Sc. works will be given based on the scores of the papers (submission system), the opinion of a small committee, and the evaluation of the presentations. To be eligible for an award, the student must present the paper in the WTD oral session. Ph.D. works must be presented in English. M.Sc. works may be presented in English or Portuguese, but English is preferable.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Both M.Sc. and Ph.D. works must be written in English. The text should follow the SIBGRAPI template (see SIBGRAPI page) with the following adjustments:<\/p>

    1. The submission process is not blind, i.e., the names of the authors should not be omitted. Students must appear as the first author and the advisor as the last author, with eventual co-advisors and other collaborators in the middle.<\/p><\/li>

    2. The articles are limited to 6 double-column pages. An extra page can be used only for references.<\/p><\/li>

    3. The text should indicate, with a footnote on the first page linked to the name of the first author, whether the work relates to an M.Sc. dissertation or a Ph.D. thesis.<\/p><\/li>

    4. The last section of the paper should list awards, patents, publications, or possible distinctions achieved as a result of the M.Sc. dissertation or the Ph.D. thesis.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

      Papers should be submitted through the CMT system at https:\/\/cmt3.research.microsoft.com\/SIBGRAPI2025\/Submission\/Index<\/a> (choose WTD when creating a new submission), together with the respective M.Sc. dissertation or Ph.D. thesis in PDF file format (accepted works must review and submit a camera-ready paper as well).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

      All accepted papers will be scheduled for oral presentations. For the presentation, a computer and projector will be available. Each presentation is allocated up to 14 minutes, followed by 4 minutes for questions from the review board and the audience. Prepare your slides in PDF format and ensure they fit within the allotted time.       No-show papers are defined as accepted papers submitted by authors who subsequently did not present the paper in person (no videos, no remote cast) at the technical meeting. No-registration papers for WTD are defined as accepted papers where at least one author did not register with the Graduate Student paid registration rate (Graduate Student member, Graduate Student non-member SBC, or superior category) for the conference, where each paper must be associated with a different paid registration. No-show and no-registration papers will not be included in the program and will be removed from the proceedings.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
